The End of Summer

It snuck up on us but I've noticed that for the past few days I've woken up in the dark (more like the gentle sun isn't nudging me awake and I'm startled by the blaring of my alarm clock) and G pointed out that soon we'll be leaving work in the dark...

I met up with my friend T on the bus and she did say that meant snowboarding season was on its way. So true! I swear, if there was no snowboarding, winter would be hell.

So good-bye beach, sun, bbq, watermelon, sweet corn, tank tops and flip flops. Hello, autumn leaves, cozy sweaters, low humidity (and good hair days!), apple pie and pumpkin bread.
