Iowa Joins Massachusetts, Connecticut in Allowing Gay Marriages

April 3 (Bloomberg) -- The Iowa Supreme Court struck down that state’s gay marriage ban as unconstitutional, making it the third state to allow the unions, joining Massachusetts and
Connecticut.


The Iowa court ruling today was unanimous. Last month, the California Supreme Court, which legalized gay marriage in 2008, heard arguments over a ballot measure that later overturned the ruling and banned the practice in that state.
