My Father's Daughter

My father teaches math and computer science at a business school in Taiwan. People ask if I'm mathematically or technologically inclined and the answer is a resounding "No!" Let's just say he tried to teach me Pascal over a summer and that was the end of it.

But he came back to visit after being out of the country after three years and I'm reminded of the ties that bind (not that my big H mouth wouldn't give it away):
- His luggage is 75% giftees and food
- He told me about the books he's reading and wants to read
- He told me about a lecture I should see on youtube
- Totally random people at the airport recognized him
- He called Petunia "fat"
