Delta Sucks

I am a Continental girl. The hub is Newark Airport which is 20 minutes from my house. I like their website, good prices, pretty good service and even when there are delays or anything, they are really good at solving problems. We originally had a 6 hour delay due to storms in the midwest and they managed to reroute us so that the delay was 1-2 hours. My second favorite is Virgin Airlines. I took a short flight from Sydney to Melbourne as well as a flight from Heathrow to Newark. Fantastic every time - really fun crazy flight attendants, great entertainment options and an ice cream pop!

I'm taking a short trip to visit M's family in Orlando at the end of October and Delta had the best price. Well, you sure get what you pay for. I booked my ticket in June and just logged in to see if I could fiddle with my seat and food options (I like to do this more and more frequently until I'm in a window seat as close to the front as possible and I have Kosher meal). I like selecting Kosher because (1) I get fed first, (2) they separate the dairy, (3) it's way better than vegetarian which is usually disgusting. Fine, one nice thing is that Delta has an "Asian Vegetarian" option but we'll see how that tastes.

So, guess what. The f-ers changed my flight - moved my departure flight up 4 hours and didn't notify me. They do have a nifty chat feature and Ken was helpful in validating my flight but that just means it doesn't show "flight changed." He couldn't show me where on the website I could go to set up email notifications so that I'm notified if the tools every change my flight again - which I am assuming they will. Further, when I email receipt and itinerary, it is the original itinerary I booked and not the new one. The website is so ridiculous and hard to use and has buttons that don't work. I sent them 2 nasty feedback surveys and told Ken that I know it isn't his fault but I will never fly Delta again.
